AOS was founded in 2003 and is based in the Washington, D.C. metroplex (Silver Spring, MD) with a second office in the Friendship Heights section of D.C. We have Associates located in New York City, North Carolina, and parts of Virginia. Since inception, AOS has provided linguistic and therapeutic improvements to clients in all walks of life throughout the Government and the private sector.
We understand that outside of the core benefits AOS provides, the true strength of our company goes above and beyond basic instruction by adding real tangible value to our programs. We do this in several ways:
It is one thing to train people to memorize details, but is entirely another to have them actually learn the subject matter and be able to use it in actual practice. AOS goes beyond simple recitation of lesson plans and addresses the WHY of a situation to teach participants why their voice breaks, or why they get winded at high altitudes and how to counteract that (for example). Whatever the case may be, AOS empowers the learner and enables internalization of the lesson as something they can use and refine every day of their lives.
