Our communication needs and demands change numerous times throughout our lives, from the developmental stages of childhood through the vocational rigors of adult life. AOS uses proven, effective methods to accommodate improvement at any age or professional standing.
Our vocal needs and demands change numerous times throughout our lives, from the developmental stages of childhood through the vocational rigors of adult life. AOS uses proven, effective methods to accommodate improvement at any age or professional standing.
The communication arena for children and older students is the classroom. From show & tell activities through Team projects and individual oral reports, AOS’s essential beginning program puts students on the path to building the skills they need to succeed in the adult world. Our work with children and students primarily focuses on speech-language therapy and working with the developmental nature of change.
Unique working environments include the LockerRoom, NewsRoom, Patient Rooms among many others, each requiring its own specific style and manner to communicate. While the audience may differ, sound communication and voice practices are key.
Our work with adults centers more on the communication demands of professions including, what we term, the Five High Impact areas. These areas include the Interview and ways to promote yourself during the Performance Appraisels, for example.
Thank you for your excellent support to the Army Research Laboratory (ARL) in the area of language and communication skills development for our scientists and engineers.
Thank you for your help these past six months with my speech. I have grown as a speaker and teacher.
